Not much excitement today but last night was awesome. I stayed up the whole night to watch the 5th annual vh1 Hip-Hop honors award. The honorees and performers were phenomenal, the clothing they wore and funk music they put up brought me back to middle school. The good old days music, songs about everyday life rather than today's songs about cars and killings. Moreover, the tributes to the OG rappers were well deserved.
