-----------------------------------------------------------
Today started out quite early, especially for a Saturday. First i went swimming with tony at the sava pool and got myself some breakfast at my friend's cafe, the Trolley Caffe. What came after was a quick bicycle fitting, over at Pacific Bike, did some adjustments here and there so i can be more prepare/comfortable for the May event. By the time i got home, it was just before noon, pretty fast if you asked me. Tony made some pasta with fettuccine alfredo sauce and some habanero chicken wings, it was alright. Then I finally started on one of my major research paper, for the senior seminar class, just a few pages done but it's not due until next Friday. Now to predict the future, there's going to be a family gathering again but this time at the Wong's household....I hope there's going to be HELLA food.....

Precaution: this entry might offend some viewers who are black, so turn away while you can. But i must apologize to those viewers who've read this entry(before hand), even when i posted this PRECAUTION message from the beginning......I come in peace..........

So i was just blog hopping again and i stumbled upon this interesting article. This article's title is called,"Sign of Progress?". A small abstract of this article is basically the number of African-American drug offenders in state prison has declined for the first time since law enforcement agencies started the war on drugs 25 years ago, even as convictions of white drug offenders have increased. According to statistics, they found that the number of blacks in state prisons for drug crimes dropped 21.6 percent from 1999 to 2005 and the total number of drug offenders in state prisons increased to 253,300 in 2005 from 251,200 in 1999.Blacks continued to make up the largest segment44 percent — of all prisoners serving time for drug offenses, although they were only 12 percent of the total population. Nevertheless, we'll have to speculate a little longer of this trend of crime, in order to say we're out of the blues.

This is quite a significant news, even with all the violent which we still see on the news(usually in black neighborhoods) but things are slowly improving. By no means do i mean we're safe to walk out our home and flaunt our wealth but it's just a teeny tiny safer in the suburbs. From what i've learned in my economic statistics class, there could be many plausible variables which may cause this trend to react the way it does; it could plausibly correlate to Obama's presidency (first black president ever in America), harder to sell drugs on the streets(since jail time is becoming more harsh for offenders), and their age. Anyways, i'm not trying to be racist, since the numbers are real data, but the article finally defined the phrase a "brighter future" and "the land of the free"..............link.................

(it's kind of hard to write this blog entry while sitting right next to a black girl, currently in the computer lab, i feel like she'll just whip out a "gat" if she saw what i'm writing)

Today was a pretty relaxing day, even when it's Monday which is supposedly be the slowest day of the week. My day started out by taking a chinese written test at 7:50am, which i somewhat messed up on(oh well it was a retake anyways). After the chinese class, i meet up with tony at the sava pool, we swam for about 50 minutes or so. Afterward, i went over to my friend's cafe for lunch, the place is called the "Trolley Caffe", the location is on 24th and Travel. His family owns the caffee which serves sandwiches and a variaty of coffee. I must say the place is pretty interesting because theres a really really big painting of a famous place with fountains in France and the whole interior declaration gave a true sense of feel of France, not to mention that their food was good. What i had for lunch there was a White Mocha and a Cuban Sandwich. From the taste of the sandwich, the roast beef was a bit spicy, consist of tomato sauce and pesto and some vegitables(and it's muy delicioso)......yelp review to the Trolley Caffe.............

Another day at Japantown but this time for the experience of Japanese food. I was so excited to go eat at the festival, i saved my stomach for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all in one meal. What i had was a cherry slushy, some type of Japanese stir fried noodle, green tea tapioca, beef skewer, and pulled BBQ pork sandwich with a beans on the side. Needless to say, it was gooooddddddd. Enough talk, pictures!!!!

Just came back from pool hall again, this time at san mateo. Once again, i've owned ramon 8-2.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just came back from a touge run with Ramon, over at Woodside, approximately 28 miles of twisty road...

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Went to Tommy's Joynt for lunch again. After a full meal, BBQ brisket+mash potato+honey baked bean, Andy Ramon and head headed over to the Japantown's cherry blossom festival. The place was packed with Japanese people, i never knew that there was so much Japanese people until today( i felt like i was in Japan). Anyways, there were lots of activities going on; such as Japanese origami exhibit, Game exhibit, Hello kitty exhibit, and Manga anime character exhibit. The exhibit which i anticipated to go to was the anime exhibit, mainly because i've only seen those people dressed up in animes characters online but never in real life. Yet, i didn't get to see much of those anime character, i only spotted a few "Bleech" , "Zelda" and "Deathnote" characters. My theory is more anime characters will to be attending the Sunday parade next week. Enough said, so picture time.....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just came back from the poolhall at daily city. I think i might of set a new genus world record, I've won Ramon 5-0 in an hour. Needless to say, he disagrees with every round that I've won and said some how I cheated, and is now going online to find some answers to prove his theories were right. Yet Ramon's also that type of person who never admits defeat and prove that he somehow will win by default. Anywho, i remain the pool king once more.
